The G&G HBA is a truly epic replica of the famous M14 EBR. The real steel creation of the Mk 14 Mod 0 EBR began in 2000 after a request by United States Navy SEALs for a more compact M14 battle rifle. United States Navy SEALs were the first forces to be armed with the EBR in 2004, followed by the U.S. Coast Guard and after that the U.S. Army.

So what can you expect from the airsoft version? For starters the gun looks fantastic. It's big, imposing and doesn't really look anything like its originator except for the magazine, outer barrel and gas cylinder. All of these metal components have been supremely well manufactured and finished with a very dark matt finish. The integrated rail section has space for attachments on the bottom, sides and top and it also features a polymer handguard which has to be removed to store the battery. Whilst many other companies use heavier & weaker metal in their manufacturing process, G&G's HBA RIS rail has been fabricated from aluminium which is much stronger and lighter than any other HBA replica.

The HBA's receiver is metal and is finished to the same high standard as the rest of the gun. Another boon is that is has licensed trademarks from Sage, great for those who like added realism. The fire selector, mag release and the safety are all ambidextrous designs which adds to the universal appeal of this AEG. The bolt release produces one of the greatest clanks in airsoft history, the noise is so nice you just can't help but to slap it into action at every possible opportunity.

The stock can be adjusted to suit most users. It can be slid out and locked into place and the cheek riser is also fully adjustable. There is also a rubberised section on the butt to improve user comfort.

Firing this gun is a treat. The version 7 gearbox cycles fluidly and the controls are easy to operate. The range and accuracy is excellent and the gun can easily suit the roles of a main battle rifle or a designated marksman rifle, just add a bipod, scope and possibly a suppressor and this really does look the part. The HBA by G&G really is an excellent weapon. Not only does it possess an intimidating presence, its powerhouse performance is guaranteed to impress the user.

I purchased this gun a month ago and i do love it, rate of fire, very accurate, CONS.... The only thing i do not like is the battery fitting. With a 8.4 large type for the gun it very tricky to get the battery in and wires not to snag, it also has 6 alan key bolts holding the cover which is a faf.....Do i like it? yes. Would i recommend it yes. Just sort out the battery cover and this is a top gun

Just buy one! NOW! Fantastic gun, build quality if brilliant! And ofcourse the main reason youre buying an M14 is for the sound of the slide, and on this one its epic! Ive got into the habbit of cocking it when I change mags! Thats sad I know, but its such a good noise! Mine was firing at 306fps consistently on .25's and is accurate for around 45 - 50m, which for a standard rifle is respectable. If you run it on an 11.1V lipo you'll be doing 17 rounds a second! Only down side, for me atleast, is the choice of mags, either 470 round Hicap or an 80 round lowcap! 80rds dwindles very quickly with this beast! Wouldve liked a 140 round midcap! Get on it G&G! As always ZeroOne were very helpful and had the gun with me very quickly! Oh and thanks for the Maoam! Nom!

This Gun is very nice. if your thinking of buying it i will point out a few things you should know before hand. Pros: Full metal construction. The only plastic is on the pistol grip and the fore grip (Battery compartment. Incredibly accurate. I have tested it on targets at 100ft and seen a spread of a couple inches. High rate of fire (Both semi auto and full auto fire select). This is great if you want to change from being a sniper and run in to support your team mates. In either role it decimates. Hop up is easy to get to. All you need to do is pull the slide back and push in the slide lock and the hop u is starring at you. it's not awkward to move either like most guns. Cons: Okay, the only real con I can pick out is the Battery compartment. it is housed in the hand grip at the bottom of the RIS rails at the front of the gun. The compartment is sealed shut by 6 screws that can only be undone with Allen keys. this, if your the type of person who takes their battery out in between games etc. you wont be able to. It is also pretty difficult to actually fit the battery in as you need an 8.4 large type for the gun. you need to mess around getting the wire into the perfect spot before you can finally close the compartment for good and quickly get the screws back in! Baring in mind i have only had this gun 2 days so i may need to just get sed to the battery situation. Dont let that put you off. because, when that battery is in and your firin'.... you will forget you ever had trouble getting the battery in. it is scarily powerful! Basically, This gun is definitely worth the price tag, with out question! i hope this has helped!
