This hook has some thread locking compound in the nut, so that it tightens before the thread's end. This means the unit can swivel 360 degrees with your sling which is very handy. It mounts quite high up on the G36C body, which means the gun is more balanced when not in use. It also mounts to a more solid part of the weapon. Bit pricey though for such a simple part.
