Everybody loves a good M4 of one sort or another. It's the staple gun for the majority of airsofters due to the availability of accessories and customisable options and ease of use. It's the little things that set M4's apart from one another and make some more attractive than others. This is where the 300BOT finds a niche.
Upon opening the box the first detail that grabs your attention is the skull motif on the receiver. The razor sharp engraving really does complement the 300BOT brilliantly. It speaks of high quality that sets the standard for the rest of the gun. The selector markings are clear and the switch clicks reassuringly with every movement. There are manufacturers markings next to the selector and below the skull logo and a unique serial number stamped onto the body. The ergonomic grip is near perfect, incredibly comfortable and rock solid.
The front end of the gun has some nice design features. The side rails are almost skeletal, having sections removed to reduce the front end weight of the gun. The bottom rail travels the full length of the barrel, and the top rail continues along the receiver. The muzzle break flash hider is in a CQB style and suits the gun perfectly. Flip up sights occupy the front end of the rail and rear of the receiver and both feature G&G Armament logos. The rear of the gun features a six-point retractable crane stock that can accommodate a nunchuck or crane style battery.
The internals feature G&G's version 2 gearbox which includes full metal gears, a polycarbonate piston and a ported piston head. The gearbox is driven by high torque long axis motor which gives the gearbox a snappy response. As a result, performance is very good, which is hardly surprising for a G&G AEG.
