Now here is an awesome addition to G&G Armaments line-up, the rather gorgeous Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle or SCAR (Shouldn’t it be called the SOFCAR). Due to having an official licence with FN Herstal this AEG now has full trades! Awesome news for players who like a little more realism on their guns.
The gun itself is supremely well made with metal parts where they should be which adds fortitude and realism. The metal components are supremely well fabricated with sharp lines and a dull black finish. The AAC muzzle flash hider gives the front end some real character and can accommodate G&G’s Quick Detach Silencer. The hand guard features a humungous amount of rail space so the operator can attach no end of sparkly bits to their gun with rails on the sides, top and bottom. The top rail runs along the whole length of the body and provides a huge amount of durability. There are flip up sights located on top of the gas regulator and the rear of the receiver which can be adjusted horizontally.
The receiver has ambidextrous controls which is great news for lefties. The pistol grip is comfortable and has a textured surface for additional grip. The charging bolt can be pulled back to open the ejection port and allow access to the hop adjustment controls.
The butt design on this gun is truly superb. The stock has six adjustment lengths, a cheek riser and it can also fold to one side! The battery compartment is stationed behind the rubber butt plate and it can accommodate a mini size battery.
All of the externals would seem superfluous if the AEG didn’t perform to a high standard, fortunately this gun exceeds expectations due to G&G’s commitment to quality. The range in stock form is impressive as is the accuracy. The high torque motor and superior internals combine to give the gun a degree of permanence that other manufacturers can only dream of.
