The G&G GK5c electric airsoft gun is a stunning realization of the Swedish AK 5c. Such is G&G’s dedication to accurately depict the real steel version, the AEG is only 400g lighter than a fully loaded AK5c! Make no mistake, this is a heavy AEG, but this quality only adds to the realism.
The AEG is manufactured from a rock solid nylon composite with many aluminium and steel parts for added strength and realism. Much like the real AK 5C, the G&G airsoft replica’s weight definitely rests more towards the barrel which helps stability during firing of the real gun. The multi-position stock is foldable for more compact usage and transportation. A fun fact about the GK5C’s stock is that it angles downward, which forces the bore of the gun to be more inline with the user’s line of sight. This is a great feature for an operator that uses facial protection as it allows them to aim down the gun without interference from their mask.
There are many other outstanding features on this gun. The charging handle feels weighty and has a working bolt release which gives a truly satisfying ‘clunk’ when released. An enlarged trigger guard makes for easy operation even whilst wearing gloves. The firing selector is ambidextrous and and features an additional extension so the safe selection stops in the correct position.
Rail space is plentiful on this beast. There is a large rail on top of the gun and rails spaced at 90-degrees on the left, right and bottom. A nice design feature is that the rail covers run flush with the handguard if they are attached. The handguard also houses the battery, in this case a ‘nunchuck’ type.
So what’s in the belly of this beast? G&G’s superior quality as standard as well as an upgraded version 2 gearbox with 8mm ball bearings, silver plated high efficiency wiring and a 6.03 inner barrel. This equates to a truly fearsome battle rifle which will terrorise your opponents with its excellent performance.
