We're really glad G&G gave this gun a cool name because it deserves it. It's beak like amplified flash hider makes it sound awesome! It's really loud and really snappy! The lightweight Fire Hawk is perfect for CQB, and looks the part too. Lots of little features like the ambidextrous sling loop, CR stock and flip up sights make it worth every penny. But of course, because it's part of G&G's really affordable and reliable Combat Machine range, you don't even need to have many pennies to spend. The Firehawk is an odd weapon. It’s loud, first and foremost, very very loud. It’s duck billed muzzle seems to amplify the noise of this weapon to the point of praise to some, and annoyance to others. It’s nice and compact, you will poke this thing around corners quickly making it comfortable in CQB. The rubber magazines are a really nice idea: easer grip for reloading, and I have personally ordered several, though I would note the rubber magazines are a nightmare for some magazine pouches. Take note of the size of the stock: it’s not very big, use the appropriate battery or risk have a silly looking battery cello taped to the back of the gun like I did first time using it. It slightly lacks range, however, not to say you can’t skirmish at medium range, it’s just you will be outclassed in most cases against most other guns. The body and receiver on the gun I got did not line up: it dose not effect the functionality, it’s just poor attention to detail. The rails on the shroud are a nice idea, though there aren't many things you can fit on them that won’t get in your way. I recommend rubber covers for the rails and just holding the gun by its magazine weld. If you have plenty of M4 mags and want a fun little CQB gun, I would recommend this. Just be prepared: everyone in a 5km radius will know exactly where you are when you start firing.

I'm sorry I can't hear you over the sound of me being Awesome. Welcome to the world of teeth shattering noise. There is no sneaking around with this gun. It's fast, its powerful with 330FPS out of the box with a 23g BB. Accurate over a reasonable distance. Will cut throw a bush and hit the dude cowering on the other side. Speaking of Bush, my other half said it was a bargain at the price. The plastic mag feels a bit cheap but it takes a standard M4 Mag. In the extending stock there is a place for sweets or roll ups to keep dry. Get two of the batteries and don't run them dry as it kills them. Personally I would like one without any stock as this would make a great back up to a sniper rifle. Battery is a bit of a faff if your hands are cold. G&G AEG Quality. No messing about. This will do the business and make you look Great at the same time.

Went on my first skirmish with my new Firehawk and what a surprise. Not only for me, my team but the enemy as well. Fire rate is good, crisp clean trigger action but combine that with the "cracking" sound it generates its a winner for me. FPS for my Firehawk on the day was around 320 with the recommended 7.4v lipo. Absolute dream to to use in the CQB arena as its light and maneuverable. Just so much fun, the only fault I have with it is that when firing on full auto .. the gun jolts and the hop up door keeps opening without me pulling the charging handle, but thats a minor thing or needs a little adjustment. OH also when you fire it .... EVERYONE knows where you are ;)

I've never been a fan of M4s, but when I saw a review of this, the ROF just amazed me. So I bit the bullet and made the order. When this arrived, I pulled it out of the box and fell in love. All the little details like the mag, the tiny rail, the sights, the cute stock, just made this gun a real looker. That flash hider combined with the ROF makes this thing sound like a chainsaw. The lack of semi auto and the lack of space for the batter are the only down sides, but they aren't major issues when compared to the rest of this epic gun.

Every time I use this at ground zero, I have interest from newbies and the experience alike. The fun is loud as heck, always turning heads (not always smiling) for CQB it's outstanding, the only fault would be the battery compartment being small, this can be sorted with a lithium battery or a crane stock, neither of which I have done because it really is a small issue. I could not recommend this gun enough! Great fun

Got one for christmas, took it out at the weekend, FPS 348 Lots of intrest, very loud when firing, put a tactical light on it plus a for grip very happy with the gun, first time using zero one,very good service will be buying a lot more from them in 2015.
