Used this for the first time last weekend. PROs - Gun looks very nice and has a good weight to it. Pop up sights are really solid. Not chrono'd it yet but fps seems ok. For a gun with a short barrel, range is pretty good. CONs - 9.6v batteries are very tight and it's a struggle to fit/remove them. Stock doesn't seem to lock into place properly and often shifted to the shortest position while shouldering the gun. Hi cap that comes in the box looks nice but is awkward to fit into pouches and needed winding every 2-3 shots so recommend going to the g&G mid caps.
I did hear and see reviews that I will need to use lipos with this due to the etu but I never had any issue. I just changed my 9.6v at lunch.

Another G&G failing I'm afraid
The ETU's reliability and low power handling lets these new guns down the most
In principal it seems like such a great idea - always completes cycle
BUT - 7.4v, 9.6v just don't cut it - or not for very long and 11.1v is needed
Sexy new receiver, lovely pistol grip, ambi mag release & bolt etc...
Metal RIS up front, quite nice folding sights & new GOS-v3 stock
lame basic 18k motor and another weird thing is that retailers & G&G say 260mm
BUT in fact the inner barrel is only 200mm ???
If they can't measure a barrel - no wonder they can't build a robust mosfet
OK to use as it is for a while but best results is to gut it & re-do it without ETU
Still a very very nice looking gun - but let down by latest ETU reliability
I do believe it or not love it despite its flaw(s) so gave it a fair 4 stars
