I purchased this gun a month ago and i do love it, rate of fire, very accurate, CONS.... The only thing i do not like is the battery fitting. With a 8.4 large type for the gun it very tricky to get the battery in and wires not to snag, it also has 6 alan key bolts holding the cover which is a faf.....Do i like it? yes. Would i recommend it yes. Just sort out the battery cover and this is a top gun |

Just buy one! NOW!
Fantastic gun, build quality if brilliant! And ofcourse the main reason youre buying an M14 is for the sound of the slide, and on this one its epic! Ive got into the habbit of cocking it when I change mags! Thats sad I know, but its such a good noise!
Mine was firing at 306fps consistently on .25's and is accurate for around 45 - 50m, which for a standard rifle is respectable. If you run it on an 11.1V lipo you'll be doing 17 rounds a second!
Only down side, for me atleast, is the choice of mags, either 470 round Hicap or an 80 round lowcap! 80rds dwindles very quickly with this beast! Wouldve liked a 140 round midcap! Get on it G&G!
As always ZeroOne were very helpful and had the gun with me very quickly! Oh and thanks for the Maoam! Nom! |

This Gun is very nice. if your thinking of buying it i will point out a few things you should know before hand.
Pros:
Full metal construction. The only plastic is on the pistol grip and the fore grip (Battery compartment.
Incredibly accurate. I have tested it on targets at 100ft and seen a spread of a couple inches.
High rate of fire (Both semi auto and full auto fire select). This is great if you want to change from being a sniper and run in to support your team mates. In either role it decimates.
Hop up is easy to get to. All you need to do is pull the slide back and push in the slide lock and the hop u is starring at you. it's not awkward to move either like most guns.
Cons:
Okay, the only real con I can pick out is the Battery compartment. it is housed in the hand grip at the bottom of the RIS rails at the front of the gun. The compartment is sealed shut by 6 screws that can only be undone with Allen keys. this, if your the type of person who takes their battery out in between games etc. you wont be able to.
It is also pretty difficult to actually fit the battery in as you need an 8.4 large type for the gun. you need to mess around getting the wire into the perfect spot before you can finally close the compartment for good and quickly get the screws back in!
Baring in mind i have only had this gun 2 days so i may need to just get sed to the battery situation. Dont let that put you off. because, when that battery is in and your firin'.... you will forget you ever had trouble getting the battery in. it is scarily powerful!
Basically, This gun is definitely worth the price tag, with out question!
i hope this has helped! |
