Works well in warm conditions, but like most other GBB pistols, not brilliant in colder weather. would recommend 25g BB's can sometimes not load the BB into the chamber, causing the gun to cycle but not actually fire. Overall not a bad gun. |

It's Accurate, reliable, lightweight and gas efficient.
Only complain is lack luster kick, but other than that it's a fantastic pistol with little downsides. |

I decided after 2 years of owning an upgraded WE 1911 it was time for a replacement. The contenders were the TM 1911A1, TM M9A1 and TM glock 17. The Having tried each one in store I found the 1911 disappointing having had a metal one. The M9 and Glock were to mainstream and didn't have the right quick, just felt spongy. I then tried the 226, and it was brilliant. The kickback was nice and strong, the pistol is light yet sturdy and the mag holds its gas well, we calculated that it can hold enough gas for 90 shots. It can out shoot any other pistol and most rifles. It is thoroughly modern and a joy to have at your side. |

Excellent pistol.
After owning many of the original Marui P226r's i was interested in the new E2 to see what the differences were and how much they impact my use of the gun.
It's much nicer to hold, the grip shape fits so well with the contour of my hand that i can have a much more stable grip while shooting.
The magazine is much easier to load. Marui have extended the large opening where bb's can be speed loaded into the magazine, so no more of the 3 handed fiddle that was required with the old magazine.
The new slide will fit straight on the old P226r frame and cycle perfectly, and also the old slide will fit the new E2 frame and cycle just as well.
The accuracy out of the box was on par with my old models, excellent work from Tokyo Marui as always.
Highly recommend this pistol, parts are readily available for it, its a solid, reliable gun and worth every penny.
Thanks Z1. |
