TM M&P 9 V Custom
I don't normally do reviews but i felt compelled to do so after receiving this fantastic invention from TM.
I can happily say that this is the best pistol i own and i have loads from p226 sigs, Glock 17s and 18, HP Browning, XDM, Colt Python to the good old TM 1911 night warrior to KWA's 1911 the list goes on but i can happily say that this is the best pistol i have.
In the box you get your usual manual, targets, barrel plug etc very nice display box outside and in. In the box you get 3 different sized grips Large, Medium and Small all made of rubber which has a really nice feel to it. Also you get two base plates in dark earth if you buy another mag.
The slide is a bit stiff at first get some lube on there fired some rounds all sorted. Same with the slide stay and mag release needs some lube and a little breaking in period. The hop-up unit is very simple to use in the chamber just on the left a little or you can take the barrel out and do it that way. The safety has a nice little click to it
The field strip process is super easy the same as the P226, rack the slide back turn the leaver slide comes off simple.
The trademarks on this gun are very nice nearly identical to the real steel very nice touch.
The TM M&P 9 V Custom is a fantastic gun, it performs really well i have fired 2 and half mags from it in cold weather performed really well. Fired the second mag just as well as the first. Super efficient on gas well impressed. The trigger has a very nice break point very good trigger system same as the glock series two stage trigger. the FPS is around 300ish
I always save the best to last, here is the bit that blow me away even more it is the sights, they are the best i have ever seen on a standard out the box gun. You have 6 dots in total, same as the 3 dot sight system only you have another dot above each one. And they glow in the dark really well which is amazing they are fantastic.
Yes you can use glow in the dark paint i have on some of my other guns only trouble is that is they don't glow very well or at all.
The over set just above is for bright situations such as daylight. To activate the night sights shine a bright light on them for a few seconds jobs do sights now glow in the dark.
I was going to go for one of the Custom WE M&P 9's with the fibre optic sights but with TM you pay a little more but get better quality all round. The TM has fibre optics is well.
With this gun you don't get any wobble like you do with over guns none what so ever another brownie point to TM. Because its TM if you want to customise it you can there are plenty of after markets part available if you do a bit of shopping and know where to look.
Thinking about buying a new gun or want something different get this one well worth it.
