This is my third gas pistol to add to my WWII collection. I am really pleased with the engineering and quality of the pistol and recommend both WE and Zero One Airsoft for good value for money. Back in the mid 80s I legally had a Browning Hi Power along with 3 other pistols and an AR15 H Bar rifle. I gave up shooting wheself loading pistols and rifles were banned in the UK. However since joining a re enactment group and taken part in skirmishes I have really enjoyed starting up again and they are much cheaper than the real thing. Back in 1982 my Hi Power cost £180 second hand and I would not have been able to go shooting if my father had not made his own ammunition with his Green Machine and reloading equipment. The top slide was quite loose until you had put a few rounds through it, then it tightened up. I used it for 'Service pistol',' Police pistol' and 'Practical pistol' competitions and at Bisley skittle shoot. I then got a Colt 45 series 70 as it was better suited to competitions as it had more 'knock down power'. But as the Browning had been my first real gun it has always been a favourite and I am pleased to have one again.
