TAG Innovation's revolutionary range of grenades and launchers for training and tactical war games, have made a big impact in the airsoft community and are favoured by Mil-Sim players. This replica of the Soviet 40mm VOG-25P grenade is made for the TAG-015 grenade launcher. However, this projectile is compatible with any of TAGinn's launching devices. The TAG-25DP 'Fate' projectile is made from 'trauma-safe' lightweight polyurethane foam and is unbelievably accurate thanks to its spinning movement during flight. This spinning stabilizes the grenade until initiation. It also whistles during flight thanks to it's unique shaping. The 25DP is also special because of it's hybrid detonation system. It detonates on impact or by the built-in 6 seconds fuse that starts burning the moment it is fired (whichever comes first). So if the impact surface isn't hard enough or you have missed your target, the TAG-25DP will also detonate by timer. Upon detonation the projectile will explode, fragmenting the grenade and it's 80rds BB payload, and producing a bright flash and VERY loud bang. Perfect through doors, windows, against 'campers' or as an anti-vehicle explosive device. They are truly awesome. Scary, but awesome! Best used for those tricksy, far away, bunkered down, hard to reach bad guys that you just can't get to normally. To send one of these bad boys flying you will need to use a TAG Innovation Shell Launcher in conjunction with your regular airsoft grenade launcher. The Shell Launcher is primed with Gas or CO2 which impressively propels the 25DP before it impacts and detonates. Also available are the super special TAG Innovation's TAG-ML36 launcher's, which negates the requirement of the Shell Launcher. They are a pricey but very shiny bit of kit.
