G&G?s patented M.E.T. units (multifunctional electronic targets) are the perfect product for personal, military and law enforcement training. These virtually indestructible, pressure sensitive, electronic targets all link together and react once hit. There are seven modes available, from simple ?fastest shooter? games to more complicated ?search and destroy? and ?time bomb? modes. These are no ordinary targets, and can?t be found anywhere else on the market. G&G?s third generation MET has increased sensitivity, four LEDs, speakers, audio output and can be wall mounted. These innovative and interactive targets can be used on their own or joined together to activate the seven different game modes waiting to be challenged. Multiple units linked together only require one power source. Timers are also available to test speed as well as accuracy.
The dome cover is the signature of this target system. These covers can receive hits from any angle and are made to endure more than 10,000 hits from projectiles up to 2 joules. The MET has two built-in pneumatic sensors that react to air pressure differences inside the dome cover. Therefore even hits as low as 0.2 joules will trigger the sensor. As the projectile has hit the dome cover light and sound effects are activated.
The MET units can either be purchased individually, as target systems on a pre-built grid, or as ?Search & Destroy? sets that allow you to create and customise your very own timed course.
7 Challenge Modes!
1 ? Competition Mode (Default Setting)
Press the start button once to select this mode. In this mode, all targets are in stand-by mode with blue lights on. When the first target is hit, it will turn red, stop the timer (if included) and all other target lights will turn off. This mode will determine who hit the target first.
2 ? Versus Mode
Press the start button twice to select this mode. In this mode, only the master target is in stand-by mode, illuminated with a blue light. After the master target has been hit, it will flash with a blue light and count down for five seconds. Once the count-down is done, all targets will turn solid blue. The first target hit will turn red for five seconds, the timer will stop (if included) and the game will automatically reset.
3 ? Random Mode
Press the start button three times to select this mode and put your reflexes to the test. In this mode, the master target will display a blue light and all other targets will be in stand-by mode. As soon as the blue light is hit, the next target will be randomly activated. Once all targets have been eliminated, the timer will stop (if included) and the last target will turn red for five seconds, signalling the end of the round. The game will automatically reset.
4 ? Practice Mode
Press the start button four times to select this mode. In this mode, all targets will display a blue light. The targets will turn red once hit and the last target hit will stop the timer (if included) and blink red for five seconds, signalling the end of the round. The aim is to eliminate all the targets as quickly as possible, using a combination of speed and strategy. The game will automatically reset.
5 ? Search & Destroy Mode
Press the start button five times to select this mode. In this mode the shooter will be challenged by locating the target from the sound it makes. The target will display a blue light and make a constant noise. The noise will stop and the target will turn red once hit. Once all targets have been eliminated the timer will stop (if included) and the game will automatically reset. To set up the game for this mode, targets should be hidden or covered without being seen easily. Shooters in this mode should rely on hearing instead of sight.
6 ? Hostage Rescue Mode
Press the start button six times to select this mode. This mode is the most difficult for most shooters. Red lights are hostile, blue lights are hostages. The red hostile lights will turn off once hit. If a blue hostage light is hit, it remains lit. If all the red hostile targets are hit successfully then the timer will stop (if included) and the game will automatically restart. Once all the red hostile targets have been eliminated, if any blue hostage targets were hit the game will not restart until the start button is pressed again.
7 ? Time Bomb Mode
Press the start button seven times to select this mode. The initial target will light up blue. The game starts after the initial blue target has been hit, then targets will begin randomly illuminating. Each target will only light up for three seconds, if the illuminated target has not been hit within the three second time limit, then this target will turn red and the game is over. The timer (if included) will stop as soon as the game is over.
