The G&G GC16 FFR AEG is one of G&G's latest additions to their intermediate M4 family. It has outstanding modular capabilities and a commanding presence on the battlefield. The FFR is available in 3 variations, the 7" rail, 9" rail and a 12" rail with suppressor. All of the variants perform admirably and offer a diverse choice for operators.
The rifle itself is exceedingly well made and feels firm & rigid when handled. The polymer crane-stock feels suitably resilient and comfortable to shoulder. It's adjustable to six positions for added operational flexibility. It also houses the battery compartment which can be accessed by removing the rubber butt plate. The stock tube and receiver are manufactured from durable aluminium which keeps the weight down. The receiver features clear cut markings and the selector switch clicks into place in a reaffirming manner. The ergonomic grip is a very welcome addition. It's capital design makes for very comfortable handling.
The most distinctive feature of this gun has to be the tubular hand guard which gives the rifle a very distinctive quality. It's a free floating design with attachable rails in each 45-degree position except the top rail which runs the entire length of the hand guard and receiver. The front assembly offers a streamline and low profile setup with the option of adding the included rail segments or simply running without them.
Inside the GC16 FFR AEG is a full metal Version 2 gearbox that is compatible with an extensive selection of aftermarket upgrades. A hi-torque 18,000 RPM motor is housed in the grip and the hop-up is fully adjustable. Performance from the FFR is excellent, as is to be expected from a G&G rifle.
