So i've had this gun for a while now and it's seen a few skirmishes so I thought I'd write a review. The packaging was very good, nice matte black box, holographic picture of the gun on one side etc. good polystyrene inside keeping the gun snug, 'nuff said about that. The gun! Well, it is a cracker! out of the box it was shooting around the 340 fps mark, ideal for woodland in the UK. And oh yeah, this gun can quite easily manage woodland because it, being one of G&G's more up to date line, comes fitted stock with a 6.03mm tightbore barrel and a load of other cool bits and bobs inside, firing at around 16-18 rps (educated guess). The gun comes with one, 200rnd metal hi-cap which fits snugly in the magwell, a low profile rail, which is very nice however I had to put some insulating tape under the front clamp to notch it up so that my sight was inline with the BB's flight path (2minute fix) It consists of a good quality polymer lower, however the fire selector markings are only painted on, not engraved like ICS, but no matter, this can be overlooked. It has a good quality metal upper, however it is a rough metal, but not in a bad way, it feels unique and therefore a little more authentic. It has wielding marks here and there which adds to authenticity because in reality, guns aren't finely crafted to the button without any marks here and there, so I actually quite like this. the stock and handguard are good quality plastics, they'll most likely never need replacing. the front bolt is as far as I know, steel. it's cold as ice and tough as, well, steel. Performance: The gun when I first got it was shooting about 35m accurately with .25's, however having a traditional G&G green hop rubber, as the weather got a bit better (up to about 15C) the hop started to get softer and send the BBs futher, about 40-45M accurately which you won't beat with any other MP5 and seeing as I brought this gun for summer as a lighter load out (weighing in at about 2.6-2.8KG), I look forward to having this consistant effective range of 40m. The pneumatic blowback is nice and far better than an electric blowback system as it doesn't drain the battery or if broken, damage the gearbox. it simply uses air. I noticed too that if you lock the bolt back by using the charging handle/bolt then it is really, really quite for an AEG, however I don't know if this has any negative effects on the gun as it's supposed to be blowback so I won't be doing that much, plus the blowback sounds is a nice, light clang. Overall, I think I'll be sticking with G&G for a good while if they keep this quality up. And to think I was going to get an M14, pfft, this thing is a mini sniper. If you're thinking about getting one, don't think, just do. 9/10 Only cons are the low profile rail needing to be notched up at the front and the fire selector markings being painted on, but both a fixable and the paint is of a high standard so hey ho, great gun. *P.S, you can aim with this gun when you're wearing a lower mesh/face mask if you have an optic on, but the iron sights are difficult with any lower face pro.

Fantastic gun!.Metal upper receiver,Good fps 340-346 out the box. Working bolt catch revealing hop always a good sign. Very good accuracy out to about 100 ft.Good fire rate With large 8.4v 3300mAh batt. Plastic and overall finish is all good to. With the lack of markings being the only let down on the gun, I need Say anymore.
