The Armorer Works 'MOLON LABE' features a gorgeous imitation battle-worn surface to replicate the battle scarred look of the worlds longest serving sidearm that has served with distinction for over 100 years.

The real steel sidearm has proven to be rugged and reliable due to its timeless design and build quality. The Armorer Works 'MOLON LABE' has incorporated each of these qualities into this stunning airsoft weapon. It is amazing to hold. Absolutely rock solid with not even a hint of a wobble or rattle. It's heavy, the weight and build feel almost the same as a real 1911.

The battle-worn finish really has to be seen in the flesh. It looks well used but not in an over the top way. The worn edges add a sense of ageless duty and rugged purpose. The engravings are precise and clear and exude quality and demonstrate a keen eye for detail. The words 'MOLON LABE' are clearly identifiable on the slide and kill marks decorate the other side. As always Armorer Works have added a couple of extra touches such as the serial numbers and 45 ACP on the ejection port. It's the little things that make the difference to the keen observer, and that's why these pistols are so highly regarded amongst airsofters.

So how does it shoot? After filling up the timeworn magazine with gas and loading it into the gun, take aim and wow! It feels powerful, the recoil is impressive and will most certainly bring a smile to the operator's face. Performance is very good, definitely on par with costlier and venerable brands. This gun blows every competitor out of the water in terms of build quality and skirmishing potential. It is an absolute steal in comparison to most other airsoft 1911's. You'd be mad to not add one to your armoury.

OVERALL I purchased this "Armorer Works GBB 1911 ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ" on 31st July 2017, so have had it for 4 months now, and I thought I might as well make a review for it. The description of the gun states "take aim and wow!" does not give this weapon justice, when I first loaded this gun with the battle worn magazines and took my first shot a gleaming cartoon smile appeared on my face, the sound that propels from the barrel is incredible and I cannot say in works how amazing that feeling was. I have used this almost every other weekend at my local airsoft arena and I have not used my primary since I bought this, sneaking around in the dark like an unexpected assassin waiting for a victim is the best feeling in the world and I could not have asked for a better weapon for that situation. MECHANICS The gun itself is very easy and simply to disassemble and re-assemble after every use and to maintain a clean and efficient weapon. all you have to do is simply pull the slider back until it reaches a small groove along the safety side, push the safety button up and push the pin through, after this you will then be able to simply pull the slider all the way off and expose the gubbins in the interior of the gun. Give all this a quick clean and a spray and then put it back together, you will be surprised at how fast airsoft guns gather dust. MAGAZINE The battle worn magazine that is supplied with this iconic weapon looks incredible and completes the look entirely, however, it does have its cons and pros. The pros of the magazine will include its ability to hold enough gas to fire enough bullets as you will ever need, I filled the magazine full of gas and made my own test, with 15 rounds in the magazine, the gas will shoot off between 28 - 38 rounds depending on conditions. The other pro is that they feel rugged and strong in construction, and the upgraded valve is a bonus which gives that little bit extra umpf. The cons, now there are not many cons but you will need to think about it before purchasing. I have had a couple of problems such as the valve leaking and the magazine not firing, and the other issue is that you need to whack the magazine into the gun in order for the gun to go "oh okay, now I have bullets to fire" but after I found this out, every time I load my gun I now give it an extra tap just to secure it in. CONCLUSION If you are someone that loves the look, feel and thought of a 1911, one of the most iconic weapons that has been used for over 100 years then this is an incredible purchase, if I were you then I would buy this as soon as you have the funds. I hope this has helped you decide on your next crucial airsoft purchase, just do what I did "search the weapon on YouTube" :) cheers
