The receiver itself is very good quality being made of stamped steel. However I bought it to replace the receiver of my ICS AK74M (folding stock) but it does not fit. I assumed that because they were both ICS the gear box would just drop in. This is not the case. The internals of the folding stock and fixed stock receiver are completely different. Why? I have no idea, it is stupid. I am just annoyed I wasted money on a receiver that should have fitted but does not. ONLY BUY THIS RECEIVER IS YOU ALREADY OWN THE FIXED STOCK ICS AK74. IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE FOLDING STOCK VERSION!!!
