ive had this gun for about 3-4 years now and I'm very impressed, i must have shot about 50-70 thousand rounds through it with regular rough play. This is a flawless gun, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good solid platform!

If you are looking for high end, reliable, well built primary rifle, that doesn't need to be 'souped up' to get excellent performance, BUT, with out breaking the bank - this is it! Adjust the hop up to the type of BB your shooting ( I use 0.25, as I've found these give me the best combination of range & accuracy with this rifle) & away you go straight out of the box - incredible. I've shot over 15000 BBs thru this gun with not a single fault (several different makes of BB too), although I only use G&G high cap mags, as I've seen too many players have stoppages using cheap mags! The front sight on mine, once locked in place, has very little wobble, but this is not an issue as I've mounted a G&G red dot sight so leave the front sight down. I've zeroed the sight & hop up to 30 meters & can hit a coke can every time! I've also fitted a forward grip & use a single point sling ( sling swivel comes already fitted to the Stock tube of the rifle), as this is a weighty rifle due to its build qaulity. I run a 7.4v 2600Ah LiPo nunchuck battery that fits the crane stock perfectly & allows full 0-6 stock adjustment ( I like to close the stock fully when in bunkers & buildings - makes training the rifle easier in confined space ). This battery easily lasts a full day skirmishing. TOP TIP - don't try to fit the battery as per instructions ( removing the crane stock), this is nigh impossible & can easily damage the stock. With the stock retracted to 0, Just pop off the rubber butt plate & then the end cap & slide the battery in, plug in ( the cons are right there) & refit the end plate & rubber cap, takes about 1 minute! There are a couple of very good you tube videos demonstrating this ( how I discovered it after not being able to remove stock as per instruction!!). Ive had no issues at all using LiPo batteries as the MOSFET works as advertised, so don't be put off by all of the horror stories about them (LiPos) - use a good charger, don't run it flat ( I have a £5 tester), stick to 7.4v & it's the perfect battery for this rifle.

Absolute fabulous piece of kit, externals are spot on & the quality is exceptional and a true robust feel when you pick it up, the performance from the internals is unmatched specification for the money; previously I was a full on marui man before I purchased this, there is no going back.... the G&G is now my first choice without question now I have used this gun. Accuracy and grouping is simply awesome, hop-up is so easy to tweak! Blowback may appeal to some; I wouldn't care if it didn't have it; the gun is just spot on without tricks like the blowback. Spec it up with some awesome external accessories to really make it your own and you will have a perfect performing weapon for a multitude of game scenarios. TIP, do away with the front fold down sight! it comes off with a little persuasion and you can install the better front metal sight from the light edition or do away with them for good and add your own optic. This is the better buy if you are putting a suppressor/silencer on as the internal barrel is longer than the light model so that is an added bonus and it looks seriously cool with a silencer. Extra mags are great value and quality and readily available in a few colours, this came with a hi-cap out of the box so another bonus. Battery in the stock can be tricky to master fitting but a couple of careful attempts will have you master that; stock can only be collapsed to the 2nd smallest position with the recommended battery but absolutely no issue to me. If your close enough to go or just lucky enough to be able to travel and drop in to the Zero1 showroom like I did, go through the wicked kit and accessories range all on display combined with the most knowledgeable, non pushy and helpful sales chap I have ever met in the airsoft world, this gun is a credit to G&G and the unmatched service is a credit to Zero1.

This gun is fantastic and I have nothing but love for this gun! It has a great finish and looks and feels amazing. Being a 416 it's so versatile so you can attach pretty much anything, anywhere as it features a 20mm rail everywhere. This gun is made of metal, the only plastic is the stock and I think the pistol grip, the grip deffo isn't metal though. The front site can fold down which also looks good as well as being practical. This gun is made so solid by G&G externally and internally and is going to be very reliable! This gun (to my knowledge) is LiPo ready! I used an 8.4 crane battery to begin with and still great, ROF is well surprisingly good! Few nice features on this gun is the fire selector/indicators on BOTH sides of the gun, this does not mean it is ambidextrous though. Also flash hider is removable as usual and also the outer barrel (all the way down to the flip up sight) is also removable (the inner barrel protrudes about 100mm when outer barrel is removed) this has a thread so you can attach maybe some for of silencer or something to give it the short version look! Now then, the good stuff.. This gun is extremely accurate and has a great range. I can hit targets accurately at 50m no problem! I use .25 bb. The hi cap mag feeds like a charm, couldn't expect better this gun is worth the money

I've been using this for a month now and it's brilliant. The range and accuracy are excellent. Feels solid with the only wobbles being in the front sight (which I removed and put a rds on) and the stock, which is to be expected. I've also removed the outer barrel and put a silencer on for looks which shortens the overall length of the gun by an inch or so. I'm using a 7.4 lipo which works really well with a good trigger response and rof. It can be used with an 11.1 which gives an impressive rof but it started to misfeed from my Mag brand midcaps (although works ok with the included highcap) so I've stuck with the 7.4 as its certainly not lacking and will hopefully lessen the wear an tear on the internals.

Cannot fault this gun. Cleaned it and did a couple of test shots and thought, hey, this feels a lot more powerful than 350fps. After a fully charged 8.4v 2200mAh crane NiMh and a chrono, it came up as just over 300fps. And oh my god the range, regardless of the 50fps lack. I was outshooting snipers when I took this to skirmish. Easily reaches distances of 60+ metres, and at a shockingly accurate rate too. The ergonomic grip coupled with an angled grip i bought meant that i could comfortably hold the rifle all day. 450rnd mag that comes with it feeds fine, had no issues. Only thing I would reccomend would be to get a LiPo, as the NimH crane batteries are a pain to squeeze into the stock, especially with that MOSFET in there.

I'm yet to skirmish with this but so far I've been pretty impressed with the build quality! Everything is solid and there is only a very slight wobble in the stock and front flip up sight but this is nominal and is hardly noticeable. I ended up removing the front sight by pulling out the two push pins and replaced it with the Ares front H&K sight which is also sold by Zero One to give it an authentic 416 look. As mentioned by Rick, the outer barrel and flash hider can be removed and this will leave around 95mm of inner barrel exposed which I dropped a 100mm suppressor over (14mm CCW threaded). From the limited indoor shots I've made so far the RIF is accurate and has a fair amount of power. Running this with the ZOBAT8C2 performs as you would expect although it is a pretty tight fit in the crane stock. Running on a 7.4v 2600mAh Lipo has upped the ROF and is a bit of a better fit. The markings on the gun are all G&G's own so for those wanting an authentic look of the real steel version this could be a problem. For me, they aren't too gaudy so they haven't been an issue. All in all, this is an excellent rifle and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality finish at a really good price!

Took this out for the first time last week and it lived up to the G&G reputation, it was great. Well made feels solid in my hands the range and rate are fantastic to the point were it was holding its own against sytemmas which as we all know are 4 times the price. Only issue I had was it stopped working all of a sudden, turned out it was just a loose connection on the motor in the grip so if you get one and it happens to you at least you know what it is and it took 2 seconds to fix. All in all I would deffinatly recomend this gun its performance is fantastic.

Got one of these last week. Really well made, though front sight rattles a bit and I have now removed it. Flash eliminator and 4\" barrel extension can be removed to fit silencer - inner barrel will extend about 3\" into silencer. Have skirmished once and all works really well as expected. The tight bore barrel gives consistent accuracy and trigger response is excellent due to the low resistance wiring. Have only given 4 stars to reflect the front sight issue.
