This is a great version of the g17, no trade markings but makes up for it in reliability. Firing at a steady 300fps
Gas efficiency is also good, I get about 2-3 clips per fill. The sights are fixed, but it’s pretty accurate. Mag holds 28 rounds. As an added bonus it will accept TM mags which enable you to use the ambidextrous mag release. The gem 5 also has an ambidextrous slide release which as a southpaw shooter is really useful. Trigger response is snappy as is the slide action. The only downsides to it are the safety is very stiff, and the trigger safety is pretty much useless. Over all I think it’s a good pistol for the price, certainly better than some of the earlier WE models
