One hell of a solid rail! I picked up a G&G MP5 with Retractable Stock today and had my heart set on swapping out the plastic factory handgaurd for a metal RIS, well oddly the G&G made mp5 a4/a5 rail would not fit, so we looked at this one at the store and it appeard it would fit... It had two metal 'tags' on the inside which prevented the handguard from sliding onto the G&G mp5 which are required for some models, ofcourse not having purchased it I couldnt force or remove them to test... So on good judgment I bought it with the AEG and took it home. To my relief it literally required one twist with plires to snap the tags and it slid stright on and fitted very secure and flush once the stock pin was put back in. Its an extreamly solid RIS and very comfortable. It does add a little weight but I like that too. Top purchase and great asthetic upgrade!
