Tokyo Marui has been introducing their highly rated recoil system to more and more platforms, and the AK has been given its share in one airsoft’s favourite styles of AK, the AKS74U, the compact little cousin of the AK47 with shortened receiver and barrel.
The TM NGRS AKS74U is an absolute blast. Punchy recoil and the choice between full-auto and semi-auto firing make this little AK a joy to shoot. The fire selector shifts with a satisfying click and the robust blowback components give the AKS74U a metallic sounding action.
Fitted with a folding wire metal stock that clicks into place and fixed iron sights true to the original, the AK family knows it doesn’t have to try very hard to impress.
