CLOSING DOWN SALE !     30% OFF OR MORERead more...

This does NOT in any way affect Ground Zero, the GZ Site Shop, or the National Airsoft Festival.
These are all separate entities and it is very much business as usual for all the above!

However, as they say, all good things must come to an end eventually, and it is with much regret I announce that after 27 years as the UK’s oldest airsoft retailer, it has become necessary to close down the retail side of the business. This means that Zero One will stop offering mail order from the warehouse, repair services will cease, and the showroom will close down over the next couple of months, as remaining stock is sold off. Obviously this is not a decision that has been made lightly. In a world of constantly increasing prices (property, overheads, staffing etc.) the retail side of the business is no longer viable to continue in its present format with sales the way they have been over the past year or more. Sadly as you will all have seen, this is all too common at the moment in many different industries all over the country.

With massive regret, some amazing individuals, family and friends who have built Zero One alongside me over many years will now be moving on. Even those who have already moved on will always remain part of the Zero One team. To all my staff, past and most certainly present, I cannot thank them enough for the years of hard work, late nights, heart & soul, and loyalty they have given to myself and to Zero One. I will never forget them and the adventures we have had!

Fortunately, my friend, our expert technician Nathan will be continuing independently and starting his own airsoft repair shop called Wildcard Airsoft Tech, and his services will continue to be at Ground Zero games as usual. Obviously as a company we are not taking in any more new repairs ourselves, but I highly recommend that you contact Nathan directly to make arrangements moving forwards. Wildcard Airsoft Tech can be reached via WhatsApp Messenger on 07777 500252.

To be absolutely clear; Ground Zero, the GZ Site Shop, and the National Airsoft Festival are all separate and are UNAFFECTED. It is very much business as usual and ONLY the retail element is affected by any changes. I love improving our site at GZ and running the NAF, and these changes will allow me more time to be devoted to these things in the future, fear not!

Looking forwards, a new Zero One website will be launched early next year, where we will offer a limited but highly competitive range of popular products (specialising in Tokyo Marui), in an online-only format, going back to our roots where we began back in 1997! For our 2025 NAF visitors, we will open up our new GZ Site Shop (which is permanent, next to player sign-in) for future events (this is about the same size as this years Zero One NAF shop). In addition, for 2025 and beyond, we are inviting all airsoft retailers from around the country to attend and have a stall at the NAF, bringing you more choice than ever.

We have begun a huge closing down sale, which applies Online and at our Showroom. 30% off everything that is normal price (excluding Tokyo Marui). And for the hundreds of our products that are already on clearance sale, and we are now offering 10% off of any of these items as well. Once it’s gone, it really is gone!
(Discount is automatic at checkout).

In conclusion, I would like to thank all the customers we have had over nearly three decades as an airsoft retailer. Some names and faces still come straight back to me when I think about the early days, which is a fantastic reflection on some of the great people that play this sport. It is quite amazing how time has flown. Please remember we are all human, and please have some compassion with my staff remembering they are loosing their jobs, if interacting with them between now and when we close our doors. Meanwhile, grab yourself a bargain online or pop down to our showroom, open Monday-Saturday. Watch this space to see what the future brings! x

With warm regards,
Dan, Director, Zero One.

Back after HUGE popular demand is the famous Dyantex Blank Firing Grenade, more commonly known as the BFG. Now back on the market and at a lower price the BFG is sure to excite many new and old players.

Its reputation exceeds itself for several reasons, but the long and short of it, is that it's a mighty tough and simple to use product that delivers flawlessly time and time again. There are limited reusable grenades on the airsoft market, even less that use a delay system to simulate real grenades, and none of them are as popular as the BFG. It's a product that not only has our seal of approval, but the seal of approval from generations of airsofters.

Any grenade toting gamer will happily brag about how a good grenade can enhance and change the way you play. Better yet because they don't produce heat like most pyrotechnics you can use them pretty much anywhere.

To use the BFG first remove the ring pull and cartridge chamber. Then use the primer adaptor to push down the firing pin and prime the grenade. Read the instructions on how best to do this. Once primed the lever must be held in place until the ring pull is secured. Then simply pop a grenade blank into the chamber and screw it back in place. The BFG is now ready to rock! To use all you have to do is pull the pin out and throw?? BANG!

Tech Tips...
Whilst priming the BFG, DO NOT hold the 'Spoon Lever' tight against the BFG's body. Only once the Priming Rod has been fully pushed down should the 'Spoon Lever' be gripped and the Ring Pull inserted to keep the BFG primed.

I have had one of these now for 5 months. It has become my "go to" grenade. I love it so much that today I have placed an order for a second! These are seriously well made, mine has been superbly reliable. Both my Tornado and my Dynatex Dominator have failed to go off at critical moments. (Soft ground is the downfall of all impact grenades.) The only negative with these is the resetting. It takes time, requires a special tool (Easily lost but replacable), requires considerable strength and dexterity to plunge, hold the fly off lever and insert the pin (Also easily lost but replacable) However its well worth th effort. Pull, tick, tick, tiBOOM!

Just got mine last week with 100 blanks really reliable grenade worked every time easy to load very compact defiantly worth the extra cash then an impact grenade always goes off! defiantly get this BFG if you havent got one!

I have been using mine for a few years now and have never been disapointed at all. Easy to reload just unscrew the top push the firing pin down with the supplied plunger and put the pin in, then the blank (I use 9mm) screw the top in and your ready to go. The grenade has never failed to go of once and so is 100% reliable and my brother has one as well and his is the same Over the years I have had tons of kills with this grenade once at the Mall I got over 30 kills after rolling into a room full of the enemy You will need to add some coloured tape or spray the body so it does not dissapear into the bushes and undergrowth Always throw underarm as this grenade is fairly weighty and you dont want to break anyones nose !

I'm yet to use this BFG yet, but from what I've heard they're well worth the money. I used to use the "Thunder B CO2 grenade" which apparently pops at 130dB, which is only very slightly more than what a 12G round should be in this. However, these were quite unreliable and choosy on when they wanted to work. When I pull a ring on a grenade, I expect it to go pop at some point, and the Thunder wasn't really providing me with this. The BFG seems to be very well made with a very simplistic design. It is loaded by placing the charging rod through the centre hole at the top and pushing it down until the spoon extends outwards. Pushing further will make the spoon return in, and it is now (whilst you hold the spoon down) that you must insert the pin and the grenade will be armed. You can unscrew the blue cap and place in either 12G blank short shotgun rounds or 9mm (.38) crimped rounds. I only have two gripes with the product:- The first being the loading mechanism - it can be a real bugger to arm sometimes. Secondly, I would have liked the timer to last a second or so more, as it doesn't give you much of a chance (esp in woodland) to pull the pin and launch. So overall, I'd give it 88%.

I have got one of these already I use it all the time, the 9mm blanks are just right for indoors, the 12g sound great out side, it works out a lot cheaper then using pyro's you want be disappointed
